The Agri-Duck SEMI-Kit includes everything that a full kit would but does not include the foamboard parts. This is advantagous to customers since the parts are very simple shapes and only number 44 parts (simple squares and triangles) and the savings of shipping an oversized box and cutting out the parts yourself can be spent for other hobby necessities.
The Agri-Duck is a low wing version of the original big Mud Duck. The Agri-Duck is a slow flying Crop Duster look-alike. It is designed for 4 channel control (Rudder, Aileron, Elevator, & Throttle).
The Semi-Kit requires you to purchase the foamboard (a.k.a. FomeCor, Gatorboard, [generic]: posterboard) locally. You will require three 40" x 60" x 3/16" sheets in order to complete one airframe. Although they can be found in these larger sheets at retail stores like Staples, Blick's Art Stores, and other art/craft stores it is usually only stocked by stores that have a large local demand for that size. A "sure bet" is to go strait to your local sign shop or picture framing shop and ask for them. Those shops may not have it sitting on the showroom floor but they use it in their day-to-day business and will gladly sell you a few sheets at a fair price. If you have any questions or need help loacting the material near you, contact us for assistance. Do not bother to order online, shipping these oversize sheets will be extremely expensive.
