OK FUDDLOW MUDDUCK THE FISHING LURE IS NOW AN AIR VETRAN. ITS A BIG FILE SO A FRIEND ON MINE PUT IT ON YOUTUBE.. YOU CAN SEE THIS MONSTER FLY BY GOING TO THE YOUTUBE WEB SITE AND TYPE IN MIGHTY MUDDUCK OR THE MIGHTY MUDDUCK...I THINK BOTH WORK... I HAVE SET THE FRONT AXLE IN FRONT OF THE LEADING EDGE WITH SUCCESS..IT PULLS HARD TO THE LEFT WHEN FLYING, AND I HAVE TO DO SOME TWEEKING ON THE TAIL TO GET IT TO ALIGN BETTER.LATE TODAY I HAVE CHANGED THE MUFFLER TO ONE THAT DOES NOT STICK UP SO HIGH AND I HAVE BROKEN THE AXLE 3 TIMES NOW ON LANDING AND I HAVE HAD 4 FLAT TIRES WITH ALL THE PICKERS ON THE FIELD.I JUST SUPER GLUE THE HOLES SHUT. WORKS GREAT.THE R/C FIELD IS THE HOME OF FALLBROOK FLYERS, FALLBROOK CA.THE 180 MOKE HAS PLENTY OF POWER AND WILL CRAWL ALONG AT 1/3 THROTTLE WITH PRACTICE.I HAVE TORN OFF THE STRUT TO THE FUSELODGE ( THE PAPER ON THE POSTER BOARD GAVE WAY.) SO I WILL REPAIR IT BY CUTTING OUT THE OLD POSTER BOARD AND SANWITCHING IN SOME 1/8 PLY..IF YOU BUILD A BIG DUCK YOU SHOULD CONSIDER THIS AREA A WEAK SPOT AND MAKE IT VERY STRONG.ALSO ITS A MUST TO INSPECT THE ENGINE BOLTS AFTER EVERY FLIGHT.THEN IT FLYS PEOPLE CAN SEE IT FROM A VERY LONG DISTANCE.I WILL TRY MAKING BIGGER AXLES TO SEE IF THAT WILL WORK...WITH NO GAS THIS PLANE DRY WEIGHTS 19 POUNDS. THE WINGS WITH SERVOS WEIGH 2.5 POUNDS ( MINE ARE DOUBLE RIBBED)AND THE EDGES ARE DONE WITH DRYWALL TAPE CUT WITH PINKING SHEERS,SO THE WINGS HAVE THAT STITTS COVERING LOOK TO THEM.THE ENGINE MOUNT WAS MADE 3 DEGREES TO THE RIGHT.LOOKING AT THE FRONT OF THE PLANE.IT COULD STAND MORE.BY NEXT WEEK I SHOULD HAVE THE HORIZ.WING ALIGNED . AND I WILL CHECK THE ANGLE OF THE MAIN WINGS ALSO.LEO
