Well I got 1 wing built this week. Looks like my light ply isn't so light. the 4 ribs weigh in at a extremely high 3.8oz. I didn't catch this until I was trying to figure out why the wing weighed so much. 9.7oz. I did extend the wing mounts to the second rib and added a .25" rode down the middle and backside of the wing. This really helps prevent the big wing from being floppy. I am going to go ahead and build the second wing with the ribs I have made up so the weight matches on both sides but I plan on getting some lighter wood and redoing the wings. I will also replace the wood rode with carbon tube helping some more.
the now completed fuss less landing gear wieghs in at 22oz on the nose. It could be made light but I tend to over do the glue at times.
