March 13th 2010: Nor'easter floods MDA shop!!!

What Happened:
Well, I took a personal day to sell off some of my personal R/C collection at the Central Penn R/C Flea Market in Lebanon, PA (about a 4 hour trip). My shop has been relatively dry short of a leaking window frame that I resolved. Besides, I had everything up on shelves or at least some short platforms (to avoid spills or a minor leak). The shop had a sump which almost never runs, why would I worry about a flood?
I came back late Saturday evening, almost didn't go into the shop, but decided to stick something in there and found about 3 inches of water covering the whole shop. Luckily the vast majority of my materials and equipment were out of harms way, but I didn't have all my balsa wood stock high enough and almost all of it was sitting about an inch into the water. Since I stock those materials vertically (easier to store and pull from) it exposed all of it to the water! All product that was ready to go out the door was also damaged.
What this means:
I do not have any kits ready to go and I can't sell anything with damaged wood so I can't pack up any new kits. First thing Monday I have to place an emergency order to complete orders and to prepare for the Toledo Show in less than 4 weeks. I will update as more information is available.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause any of you.

Materials have been ordered as of last week and are in transit. Materials are expected to arrive March 25th so kitting should resume shortly thereafter.

New wood materials have arrived today and we are back in business! We have about a week and half to pack up as many kits as we can to fill back orders and have kits/semi-kits to bring with us to Toledo!
