WELL I THOUGHT I WOULD DROP A LINE AND LET YOU KNOW THAT FUDDLOW IS "STILL" ALIVE AND WELL.  FUDDLOW NOW SPORTS A 5 FOOT SPAR THAT IS 4" X 4" X 60" LONG.AT THE BUSINESS END IS A 4.5 HP SHINDIAWA 4 STROKE ENGINE AND IT TURN 8000 RPM  THE ENGINE WAS DONATED TO MY BY BRIAN FROM SMALL ENGINE REPAIR IN SAN DIEGO. ALL THE TOOLING WORK WAS DONE AT NORTH C0UNTY TOOL AND DYE.TODD LET ME USE HIS EQUIPMENT IN TRADE FOR DETAIL SUPPLIES THAT I HAVE.THANKS TODD AND BRIAN WITH OUT YOU GUYS THERE WOULD BE NO FUDDLOW IN THE AIR. THIS MUDDUCK NOW WEIGHS 41 POUNDS WITH A FULL TANK OF FUEL (24 OZ) ENOUGH TO FLY FOR ABOUT A 45 MINUTES.( GOD FORBID ) THE SHINDIAWA 4 STROKE IS EXTREAMLY SMOOTHE RUNNING AND BALANCED.ALMOST FREE OF VIBRATION.. WITH THE STOCK MUFFLER IS 75 DESIBLES OR LESS..THERE ARE NO ADJUSTMENTS ON THE CARB.. IT IS PRE SET BY THE FACTORY YOU CAN CHANGE THE MAIN JET...IT COMES WITH A NUMBER 60. IT SWINGS A 20-10 WITH EASE AND I THINK IT COULD ALSO HANDLE A 22" PROP. THE VIDEO I AM EMBEDING SHOWS FUDDLOW WITH A 24-10. IT SWINGS IT ABOUT 6000 RPM MAX.
   JUST CLICK ON THE "RED" YOUTUBE CODE AND YOU CAN WATCH FUDDLOW IN ACTION......ONCE YOU ON YOUTUBE I HAVE ABOUT 85 VIDEOS TO WATCH..RIGHT FROM THE VERY BEGINING ON BUILDING THE GIANT SCALE ARGIDUCK...AS YOU NOW SEE ITS BEEN HIGHLY MODIFIED AND HAS SURVIVED 5 MAJOR CRASHES .. THE DESIGN STUDY YOU SEE NOW IS THE IMPUT OF IDEAS OF DAN (PARROTPILOT)

Hey Leo,

  I gotta say, you have the heaviest Agri-Duck I have seen to date!  I knew it could take the weight but it is reassuring to hear that you still are enjoying it that heavy.  I like your engineering spirit and the way you keep experimenting with it.  I'll tell you, I never considered a modular system based on a center spar though the fuselage the way you did that was very innovative!
