The Agri-Duck Sport is like the Mud Duck Sport in that it is a 75% scaled down version of the big Agri-Duck.  The Agri-Duck Sport flies just like the big Agri-Duck but affords you to transport it in a much smaller vehicle, it takes up less storage space in your hangar and requires smaller, less expensive, engines or electric power set-ups! 

Modelers looking to fly the Agri-Duck Sport on electric power can cut the weight nearly in half by choosing Fan Fold Foam (FFF), also known as BlueCor which is used for insulation under vinyl siding in home construction.  FFF is much lighter than foamboard (FomeCor) but at the expense of strength.  The "Sport" versions of our planes are about the maximum size we feel comfortable recommending the use of FFF as a alternative building material, but handles the job well for electric flight purposes.  One drawback to the use of FFF where the foamboard is more superior is the quality of the finish of the airframe.  Utilizing foamboard will provide your Duck with the smoothest finish and the quickest building.

Building the Agri-Duck Sport is very fast, and very easy, unlike conventional built-up model airplanes.  Just take a look at the model, it's basically a big cardboard box with wings, who couldn't tape one of them together?  Well, you don't exactly tape them together but the simplicity of putting a Duck together is often over looked.

All the Ducks are capable of carrying a lot of extra weight due to the massive lift from the wings and the fuselage has a cavernous space inside which allows for a number of possible platforms to use your Duck as.  Many modelers cut a hatch into the belly of the ducks and with an extra channel create a candy drop for fly-ins and a skydiver or parachute drop-bay.

The combination of high-lift capacity, lots of free cabin space, and slow flight speeds makes the Agri-Duck Sport a great camera and video platform for aerial photography and aerial videography.  Couple this with electric power and, although not particularly stealthy, it is not very annoying if employed in populated areas.

The Agri-Duck Sport is currently only available in "plans".  We do not have tooling made up to offer kits for this product.
