The Agri-Duck Semi-Kit is currently the only version of a kit we have available for the Agri-Duck. A Semi-Kit does not include the foamboard parts, but does include all the rest of the materials. In order to make your semi-kit into a full kit, you will need to purchase 3 sheets of 40" x 60" x 3/16" foamboard from a local picture framing or sign shop. Both businesses carry the foamboard in this size (or larger) to produce their products. You may have to "ask" the shops for it since they keep in in the back of the shop and they will usually sell it for prices between $10-$15 a sheet ($12 is a good price). Once you have the foamboard, you will trace the templates from the semi-kit onto the foamboard in any number of ways (e.g. non-destructive: carbon paper, seamstress tool, pizza cutter, or destructive: cut out the templates and lay over the foamboard). Then with a fresh blade in your hobby knife cut out the parts. If you have a 36" straitedge, you only have to mark out the ends of all your cut lines for all but the wings. You should be able to cut out all your parts in less than 2 hours even if you never worked with this material before. There are very few parts to cut out and nearly all the cuts are strait with only a handful of curved cuts (e.g. wing tips). Once you have all your parts cut out, you only have to mark a few of your parts from the plans to show where to crease the part, other than that you will be building exclusively from the building manual. Even if you have never built a kit before, you will find this very, very easy! This is not built like a traditional built-up kit, you are not assembling a "skeleton" of many, many pieces that you then need to cover. Instead you are assembling an exoskeleton, that builds super quick and when it is together all you need to do is spray some paint on it, then your done! It is so fast and easy, you may even find it faster and easier than some ARF's you may have assembled in the past.
